Four injured in Bajhang jeep crash airlifted to Nepalgunj, two referred to Kathmandu
Surkhet, July 12 -- Four of the critically injured passengers in Saturday's jeep crash in Bajhang have been airlifted to Nepalgunj, while two others have been referred to Kathmandu for further treatment, police said.
The injured passengers were flown out by Nepali Army helicopters after doctors at the Bajhang District Hospital determined that they required specialised care unavailable at the facility.
The crash occurred at ward 7 of Kedarasyun Rural Municipality on Saturday afternoon when a Bolero jeep, travelling from Bungal Municipality to Durgathali Rural Municipality, veered off the road. Three people died at the scene, and 13 others were injured.
