Four hospitals in Khotang remain unfinished after years of work
Khotang, Aug. 17 -- Four basic hospitals under construction in Khotang district have been left unfinished, years after the federal government launched a nationwide hospital-building drive.
The four hospitals are among 396 facilities whose foundations were laid across the country on November 30, 2020, by then prime minister KP Sharma Oli. Most of the projects were intended to expand basic healthcare services in rural municipalities.
In Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality, construction of the basic hospital in Baksila has stalled after the contractor failed to complete the project within the agreed timeframe.
