Pokhara, Sept. 23 -- Flydubai's first scheduled commercial international flight to Pokhara International Airport landed at 6:18 pm on Wednesday, opening a new chapter in the city's international air connectivity.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8, with a capacity of 166 passengers, flew from Dubai International Airport and landed in Pokhara after about four hours and 30 minutes.

The aircraft was given a water-cannon welcome at the airport. It arrived with 113 passengers and is scheduled to depart for Dubai at 7:15 pm with 153 passengers.

Passengers arriving in Pokhara on the inaugural flight were welcomed with khadas, garlands and gifts under the leadership of the Pokhara Tourism Council. Passengers departing for Dubai were also given a farewell. ...
