Kathmandu, May 13 -- fixing team on Wednesday completed the route to the summit of Mount Everest, officially opening the way for climbers attempting the world's highest peak this spring season.

According to Seven Summit Treks, the rope-fixing team successfully reached the summit from the Nepali side at 10:25 am, completing the 2026 rope-fixing mission from Base Camp to the top of the mountain.

The summit team included three Sherpas from the company-Mingtemba Sherpa, Pasang Nurbu Sherpa and Dendi Sherpa.

Led by Mingtemba Sherpa together with Pasang Ngima Sherpa, the fixing teams joined forces overnight after successfully fixing ropes up to the Balcony at 8,400 metres on Tuesday. They completed the final section via the South Summit to t...
