Salyan, May 2 -- A total of 86 bombs of various types have been discovered inside the premises of the District Police Office, Salyan.
The devices were found buried underground during excavation for the foundation of a new building, police said.
Inspector Purna KC, information officer at the District Police Office, said the recovered items include 82 socket bombs and four improvised explosive devices.
Further excavation led to the recovery of seven radio communication devices, around 500 grams of explosives, two kilograms of bomb-making materials, and 10 metres of firing cable, KC said.
