Kathmandu, March 23 -- Darjeeling singer and composer Durga Kharel will perform in the Paleti series at Nepalaya's R Sala in Kalikasthan, Kathmandu, on March 27 and 28.

Kharel is a celebrated name among Nepali music listeners. In particular, the song 'Bolau Bhane Timilai' is popular among the masses. Along with Kharel, the programme will feature vocal artist Avigya Ghimire.

Growing up in the vicinity of musician Gopal Yonzon, Kharel was inspired by renowned artists including Amber Gurung, Jitendra Bardewa, Shanti Thatal, and Karma Yonzon.
