Panchthar, April 5 -- A dry landslide has obstructed the Yasok-Basagu-Uttare road in Panchthar, halting transport and supply services since Saturday evening.

The landslide struck the Deurali section, burying around a 15-metre stretch of the road from below and rendering it impassable.

The road is currently undergoing upgrading and blacktopping. Thakur Singh Nembang, vice-chair of the rural municipality, said the landslide near the construction site swept away part of the road, disrupting vehicular movement and transport services.
