Kathmandu, July 30 -- Sagar Chhetri travelled to Kathmandu from Dhangadhi solely to obtain his passport. But 12 days after his arrival, he is still waiting to receive the document.

Chhetri, who plans to travel to South Korea through the Employment Permit System (EPS), said he is uncertain whether his passport will be issued before the deadline for submitting the application for the Korean language test.

"Each day, I was told that the passport would be ready soon, but so many days have already passed," he said. "I have spent significantly on food and accommodation at a hotel."
