Jajarkot, Aug. 16 -- The death toll from a landslide in Jajarkot's Bheri Municipality-2 has risen to four after the body of a man who had been missing since Saturday evening was recovered, police said.

The body of 70-year-old Bhim Bahadur Karki was found buried in the landslide about 50 metres below his home, according to police.

Earlier, 52-year-old Kedar Karki, who was injured in the landslide, died while being taken to Nepalgunj for treatment.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Buddhisagar Puri of the Jajarkot District Police Office said the bodies of 54-year-old Om Singh Khatri and his mother, Rati Khatri, had also been recovered from the landslide.

Puri said Om Singh and Rati had been missing since Saturday evening.
