Kathmandu, April 8 -- A task force formed by the government to prepare a discussion paper on constitutional amendment is set to hold its first meeting at 3pm on Wednesday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
The Cabinet, on March 30, formed the panel under the coordination of Asim Shah, the chief political adviser to the prime minister.
The task force includes representatives from multiple parties. Mohan Acharya represents the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Bhishmanath Adhikari the CPN-UML, Dev Prasad Gurung the Nepali Communist Party, Gyanendra Shahi the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, and Manoj Bhatta the Rastriya Janamorcha.
