Kathmandu, April 14 -- Buddha Air has relaunched its Royal Club frequent flyer programme in a fully digital format to expand customer benefits.

The airline, which has operated the programme for over a decade, said that starting April 12, mileage points have been available on all tickets. Previously, the scheme was limited to higher fare or refundable tickets.

Under the new system, passengers can accumulate mileage points from flights and redeem them as discounts on future bookings.

For example, a passenger flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara earns up to 112 mileage points, equivalent to a discount of up to Rs112 on the next ticket, said Rupesh Joshi, sales and marketing director of Buddha Air.
