Kathmandu, Sept. 8 -- Arsenal has donated to relief efforts in Nepal following devastating floods that have killed and displaced people across the country, the English Premier League club said on Tuesday.

The Arsenal Foundation is working with its charity partner, Save the Children, on a dedicated fundraising initiative to support communities affected by the disaster.

"Everyone at Arsenal has been deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the flooding in Nepal," the club said in a statement.

The club said its thoughts were with those affected, particularly families who have lost loved ones, people still awaiting news of missing relatives and emergency teams supporting affected communities.
