Kathmandu, Feb. 21 -- A collaborative art exhibition, 'In-Between Two Worlds', featuring two Nepali artists, Chirag Bangdel and Shivangini Rana, is taking place at The Nepal Art Council.
Rana is a contemporary abstract artist who uses layers to express the emotional depth of her paintings. Bangdel is a Kathmandu-based visual artist whose prominent contribution to 'In-Between Two Worlds' is his ongoing series, 'Geeta Govinda'.
As both artists seek to portray spirituality and love through their artworks, the collaborative pieces feel naturally balanced. Bangdel says, "After the Maoist insurgency, I felt a deep urge to express love through art; that is when the religious figures of love, Radha and Krishna, came to my mind." 'Geeta Govinda'...
