Jammu, June 9 -- Cybercriminals have devised a new method to target bank accounts, with a CISF jawan in Mumbai reportedly losing nearly Rs 95,000 after falling victim to a sophisticated smartphone hacking scam.
According to reports, the victim's smartphone suddenly reset on its own, causing all installed applications to disappear from the device. When the apps were later reinstalled and the bank account was checked, approximately Rs 95,000 had been fraudulently withdrawn.
