JAMMU, July 7 -- Prof. (Dr.) B. N. Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu, has been elected Fellow of the prestigious Royal Society of Biology, United Kingdom, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to veterinary sciences, animal health, agricultural research and higher education.
A globally acclaimed academician and veterinarian, Prof. Tripathi has held several key positions, including Deputy Director General, ICAR; Director, ICAR-National Research Centre on Camel; and Director, National Institute of Animal Health, Baghpat. He is already a Fellow of several reputed academies and societies, including the Royal College of Pathologists, London and the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, India.
