GANDERBAL, April 6 -- A one-day workshop-cum-training programme for the 'Gyan Bharatam National Manuscript Survey' was today organized at the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal.
The workshop aimed at equipping local coordinators and surveyors with the necessary skills for the forthcoming nationwide survey focused on identification and documentation of ancient manuscripts.
The programme was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, and attended by Assistant Commissioner Panchayat and other officers and officials. Prof. Jehangir Ahmad, Head of the Department of Persian, University of Kashmir served as the expert resource person for the workshop.
