JAMMU, Oct. 6 -- Dr Varinder Sharma, Co-Convener, Health Cell, BJP J&K, has warmly welcomed the newly notified Jammu and Kashmir Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) Policy 2026, describing it as a timely and far-sighted initiative that will go a long way in easing the energy crisis aggravated by the ongoing West Asia conflict between Iran and the United States and its worldwide repercussions. "Every household that shifts to bio-gas reduces dependence on imported fuel and strengthens our collective energy security," he observed.
