Rajouri, Oct. 11 -- The Department of Social Welfare, Rajouri, through the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child at Dak Bungalow, Rajouri, under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative, under the able supervision of the worthy District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), Rajouri.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various institutions, including Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostels, Rajouri, Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Gurdan, EMRS Koteranka, Girls Pahari Hostel, Rajouri, and Parisha, Rajouri. The event aimed to promote the rights, education, empowerment, safety, and overall development of the girl child.
