SRINAGAR, Aug. 24 -- Indoor Taekwondo Academy put up a strong show at the Chenab Open Taekwondo Championship, clinching the 2nd runner-up trophy after its athletes bagged 17 medals, including eight gold, four silver and five bronze.
The gold medal winners included Suvaid Ahmad, Abbas Khursheed, Aleena Nisar, Hafida Rafiq, Ajiya Nasir, Aayat Jan, Mehreen Jan, Serrat Ayub and Zain Nazir.
Zaheeb Javaid Malik, Essa Bin Sajid, Aiman Bashir and Suvaid Ahmad secured silver medals, while Mohammed Musineen, Mohammed Eesa Bhat, Aftab Malik, Zunaira Fatimah and Aleena Nisar won bronze medals in their respective events.
