UDHAMPUR, May 29 -- In a major administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening policing and improving operational efficiency, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur has ordered the transfer and posting of seven police officers across the district with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by the District Police Headquarters (DPHQ) Udhampur, several Inspectors and Police Sub-Inspectors have been assigned new responsibilities at important police stations and posts.
Under the reshuffle, Inspector Purshotam Kumar has been transferred from Police Station Rehmbal and posted as SHO Police Station Ramnagar, while Inspector Nishant Gupta, who was serving in DPL Udhampur, has been appointed as SHO Police Station Chenani.
