BUDGAM, Sept. 23 -- Speaker, Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather today inaugurated the macadamisation work of the Nowgam to Kanidajan Charar-i-sharief road, marking an important step towards strengthening road connectivity and improving transportation facilities for the people of the area.
The 9 kilometre long road is being macadamised at an estimated cost of Rs 1.72 crore. The project is expected to significantly improve the condition of the road, facilitate smooth and hassle-free vehicular movement and provide better connectivity to the adjoining villages and localities.
