JAMMU, May 30 -- City Police North Zone Jammu today accorded a warm and heartfelt farewell to Shri G.C. Thapa, Chowki Officer, Police Post Hari Market, and Shri Muzaffar Shah, Chowki Officer, Police Post Gujjar Nagar, on the occasion of their superannuation from active police service after rendering long, dedicated and distinguished service in the Jammu & Kashmir Police.
A farewell function was organized in their honour, wherein senior police officers, members of the Bazar Association and prominent members of civil society participated and extended their best wishes to the retiring officers.
