JAMMU, Nov. 4 -- The State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (SOTTO) J&K organised a community-level awareness programme on organ and tissue donation at Upper and Lower Sarore Panchayats, with the objective of taking the message of organ donation to the grassroots level and encouraging active community participation.
The programme was led by Dr. Poonam Mahajan, Joint Director, SOTTO J&K, along with Ms. Anshu Sharma, Consultant (IEC/Media) SOTTO J&K and Mr. Narinder Vaid, Transplant Coordinator, GMC Jammu. The team engaged with community members and highlighted the importance of organ and tissue donation, emphasizing its life-saving potential and the need to strengthen awareness at the grassroots level.
