JAMMU, Sept. 18 -- Under the able guidance of Honourable Vice-Chancellor Prof. B. N. Tripathi, Division of Microbiology, Faculty of Basic Sciences, Chatha, and the Division of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, R.S. Pura, jointly celebrated International Microorganism Day 2026 at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu. The programme was organised on the theme "Microbes for Life, Health and a Sustainable Planet". Prof. S.K. Gupta, Director Research, SKUAST-Jammu, was the Chief Guest, while Dr. Sanjay Guleria, Dean, Faculty of Basic Sciences, hosted the programme.
