UDHAMPUR, May 21 -- A training programme on "Investigation of Traffic Accident Cases" commenced today at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA), Udhampur, with the aim of enhancing the investigative capabilities and professional skills of police officers in handling traffic accident cases through scientific and evidence-based methods.
The programme has been designed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge regarding investigation of road traffic accidents, including scene-of-crime management, collection and preservation of evidence, legal provisions, forensic aspects, accident analysis and adoption of modern investigation techniques.
