JAMMU, Oct. 29 -- The Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA), Udhampur, organised an educational visit to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Jammu, for its trainees today, with the objective of enhancing their understanding of scientific methods employed in criminal investigation and forensic analysis.
During the visit, the trainees were introduced to various specialised sections of the laboratory, including Biology, Serology, Ballistics, Cyber Forensics, Document Examination and Chemical Analysis. Experts from the respective sections briefed the trainees on the functioning of the laboratory, scientific examination of evidence, and the significant role of forensic science in crime detection and investigation.
