JAMMU, April 20 -- Six-month Basic Police Training for newly appointed Assistant Directors of the Forest Protection Force commenced today at the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy. A total of 13 officers from the J&K Forest Protection Force, including 10 female officers and 3 male officers have joined the programme.
The training is designed to equip the officers with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in areas such as forest law enforcement, environmental protection, wildlife conservation, crime investigation techniques, field craft, leadership and inter-agency coordination. Emphasis will also be laid on physical fitness, discipline and professional ethics.
