JAMMU, Oct. 10 -- Amid the rhythmic beats of drums and the resounding chants of "Jai Mata Di", the 44th Holy Chharri Yatra of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), Jammu and Kashmir unit, departed for the holy shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi today after performing religious rituals and prayers at Shri Raghunath Ji Temple. Passing through the city's prominent markets, the grand procession filled Jammu with religious fervour and devotion, as traders and devotees welcomed the Yatra at various locations with showers of flower petals.
