JAMMU, July 26 -- A Kargil Vijay Diwas commemorative programme was held at the Senior Citizens' Rejuvenation Centre, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. BJP J&K Vice President Rekha Mahajan attended the programme as the chief guest. Centre President K S Samyal along with ,Patron Narinder gupta general secretary TC Taggar and other members, was present on the occasion.
The participants paid floral tributes to the brave soldiers who attained martyrdom during the 1999 Kargil War. The gathering remembered their extraordinary courage and invaluable contribution to protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
