SAMBA, Feb. 13 -- Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba and recovered approximately 5.48 grams of heroin-like substance (chitta) from his possession.
Acting on information received from reliable sources, a team of Police Station Samba laid a special naka near Shamshan Ghat Bhargva College Samba and intercepted a Scooty bearing registration No. JK21F-1891 which was coming from Vijaypur side and moving towards Samba. During checking, approximately 5.48 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from the possession of the rider.
