JAMMU, Feb. 23 -- The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference Provincial President, Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta, today strongly condemned the highly irresponsible and provocative remarks made by local Bharatiya Janata Party leadership, calling it bundle of lies aimed at misleading the people and creating unnecessary political controversy.
Gupta said it is unfortunate that instead of engaging in constructive opposition, the BJP leadership continues to rely on distortion and sensationalism. He asserted that such statements reflect frustration within the BJP, which is fast losing its political ground in Jammu after having ditched the people on crucial promises related to employment, development, and protection of regional interests.
