Jammu, Sept. 25 -- Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Pharmacy, Jammu successfully organized a series of academic, awareness and sports activities on the occasion of the 6th National Pharmacovigilance Week 2026. The programme aimed to create awareness among students regarding pharmacovigilance, adverse drug reaction reporting, rational use of medicines and patient safety.
The programme commenced on 17 September 2026 with the inauguration ceremony and speech competition. Students actively participated in the event and shared their views on the importance of pharmacovigilance. Mehran Ahmed, a D.Pharmacy 1st-year student, secured the first prize in the speech competition.
