Jammu, March 6 -- The newly appointed Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Vinai Kumar Saxena, faces two immediate and significant challenges - taking the ongoing dialogue process with agitating groups in Ladakh to a logical conclusion and ensuring the smooth conduct of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, Panchayat elections in the Union Territory.
Saxena becomes the fourth Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, which was carved out as a separate Union Territory from the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir in 2019.
