REASI, June 8 -- Continuing its sustained campaign against drug trafficking under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Reasi Police has achieved a major success by securing the preventive detention of two notorious and habitual drug peddlers under the provisions of the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act.
The detenues, Suresh Kumar alias Bantu S/O Sansar Chand R/O Matyal, Katra, Tehsil Katra, District Reasi and Hussain Mohd S/O Sharief Mohd R/O Chamba, Chandwa, Tehsil Katra, District Reasi, have been detained pursuant to formal detention orders issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Ramesh Kumar (IAS) and subsequently lodged in District Jail Rajouri.
