REASI, April 3 -- In a major action against drug trafficking and to ensure a drug-free Katra, Police Post Banganga achieved significant success today.
A police party of PP Banganga had established a Naka at Keri. During the naka checking, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02DT-6459 was stopped for checking. During the search, 17 grams of heroin was recovered from the possession of Rakesh Sharma S/O Romesh Chander R/O Sungal Khadwani, Tehsil Akhnoor.
Further sustained checking led to the recovery of 150 strips (1500 tablets) of Pregabalin from the possession of the pillion rider Vikas Kumar S/O Satpal R/O Choghan Mohalla, Tehsil Akhnoor.
