REASI, May 9 -- Under the supervision of SSP Reasi Sh. Mukund Tibrewal, IPS, District Police Reasi achieved a significant breakthrough by successfully cracking a recent armed assault case reported at RK Palace Hotel, JIJ Chowk, Katra. In connection with the case, Police Station Katra arrested 04 accused persons and apprehended 02 Children in Conflict with Law (CICL) from the State of Haryana.
On 02.05.2026, a group of persons armed with sharp-edged weapons, including a Toka, forcibly entered RK Palace Hotel and criminally assaulted one Sh. Jaswinder Singh @ Sundri, who sustained serious injuries during the attack. The injured was immediately shifted to CHC Katra for medical treatment.
