REASI, May 13 -- Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, Reasi Police, under the supervision of SSP Reasi Sh. Mukund Tibrewal, IPS, achieved another success by apprehending a drug peddler and recovering heroin-like contraband substance from his possession.
On 11-06-2026, a police party of Police Station Katra laid a naka/checking point near Gate No. 1, SMVDU. During checking, one person identified as Surinder Kumar S/o Late Munshi Ram R/o Kandyar, Tehsil Katra, District Reasi, who was travelling in an Auto bearing Registration No. JK20C-2016 from Sool side towards Kotla, was intercepted for checking.
