Jammu, Sept. 20 -- In a significant achievement in the field of advanced pediatric minimally invasive surgery, the Department of Pediatric Surgery, SMGS Hospital, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, successfully performed a rare and complex laparoscopic adrenal tumour surgery in a 14-year-old girl.
The young patient had been suffering from abdominal pain and loose stools for some time. Following detailed clinical evaluation and investigations, she was found to have a large adrenal gland tumour. Considering the complexity of the condition, the child was evaluated and stabilized through a multidisciplinary approach.
