CHANDERKOTE, May 15 -- Continuing its sustained drive against absconders and proclaimed offenders, District Police Ramban achieved a significant success by apprehending two absconders who had been evading arrest since the year 2022. On 14-05-2026, a police team of Police Station Chanderkote headed by ASI Ravinder Kumar Sharma, under the supervision of senior officers of District Police Ramban, successfully arrested the absconders namely Bagh Ali S/O Remo and Barket Ali S/O Hussain Ali both R/O R.S. Pura, District Jammu from Sunderpur, R.S. Pura.
Both the accused were wanted in connection with FIR No. 79/2022 registered at Police Station Chanderkote under sections 307, 427, 34 IPC and sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act. Both had been delib...
