RAMBAN, June 1 -- Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Ramban Police achieved a significant success by apprehending two persons involved in the illegal possession and transportation of psychotropic substances. Acting on specific information, a naka/checkpoint was established at Shan Palace, Ramban. During checking, a Swift car (chassis vehicle) coming from Jammu towards Kashmir was intercepted and subjected to a thorough search.
During the search, police recovered a total of 103 tablets of Addnok-N (Buprenorphine 2 mg) from the possession of the following individuals:
