Doda, July 2 -- Continuing its sustained drive against illegal mining and unauthorized transportation of mining material, I/C Police Post Karara under the jurisdiction of Police Station Thathri detected a case of illegal transportation of mining material and facilitated action against the violator.
Today, a police party of Police Post Karara intercepted a dumper bearing registration No. JK06C-9205 near Bhella Morh during routine checking. GPS-tagged photographs of the vehicle were taken at the spot. On noticing the police party, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled from the scene.
