JAMMU, May 14 -- In a significant success against absconding offenders, a police team from Police Station R.S. Pura apprehended a long-time absconder who had been evading arrest for the past four years in a case registered at Police Station Chanderkote.
The accused, Bagh Ali S/o Remo R/o Sunderpur, Tehsil R.S. Pura, District Jammu, was wanted in Case FIR No. 79/2022 U/S 307/427/34 IPC and 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act. Due to his continuous evasion of arrest, the Hon'ble Session Court, Ramban, had issued a warrant against him under Section 512 CrPC.
