REASI, Sept. 3 -- Continuing its drive against drug trafficking, Reasi Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 6.9 grams of heroin during routine naka checking in Katra. On 02.09.2026 at about 2350 hrs, a patrolling/naka party of Police Station Katra, during routine checking at Masjid Chowk, near New Bus Stand, Katra, apprehended Altaf Hussain S/o Rustam Ali R/o Banganga, Tehsil Katra, District Reasi, who was coming from Jammu towards Katra. During his personal search, 6.9 grams of heroin along with a poly pouch was recovered from the left pocket of his jeans pant.
