SRINAGAR, June 19 -- Taking a dig at the elected government for its failures, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that "people are grappling with a host of issues and hardships, yet the government appears least concerned about addressing these issues." He made these remarks today while addressing a party event at the party headquarters in Srinagar. The event was organised to welcome a large number of social and political activists from north Kashmir's Baramulla and Sopore, into the party fold.
