SRINAGAR, July 7 -- More than 28,000 pilgrims had darshan of the naturally formed ice 'Shivling' at the Amarnath cave shrine on the fifth day of the 57-day annual pilgrimage on Tuesday, taking the total number of pilgrims to over one lakh so far, officials said.

As many as 28,035 pilgrims paid obeisance at the 3,800-metre-high cave shrine in the south Kashmir Himalayas on Tuesday, officials said.

They said the total number of pilgrims who had darshan of the icelingam so far has reached 1,13,800.
