MOHALI, Oct. 30 -- The Department of Natural Products, NIPER-Mohali, in association with the NIPER S.A.S. Nagar Alumni Association, organized a one-day symposium on "Transforming Natural Products Research: Bridging Traditional Knowledge with AI and ML" on October 30, 2026, The symposium honoured Prof. Inder Pal Singh for his contribution to natural products research.
Around 135 delegates from different colleges and institutions attended the symposium. The symposium brought together scientists, academicians, industry experts and research scholars to discuss how artificial intelligence and machine learning can advance the study of traditional knowledge and natural product-based drug discovery.
