MALIGAON, Oct. 5 -- Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) organised the Sukna Station Mahotsav on 3rd October, 2026, to celebrate 146 years of the architectural heritage buildings of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The programme was graced by the General Manager of NFR, Shri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava and several senior railway officials and distinguished dignitaries, highlighting the railway's commitment towards preserving its historic assets and promoting community participation.
