JAMMU, April 21 -- Anand Jain, IPS, ADG Armed J&K, today visited 12th IR Battalion, Nud, Samba, to review the functioning of the unit, welfare measures, and ongoing development works. He was accompanied by Ms. Nisha Nathyal, IPS, DIG IR Jammu; Sh. Sameer Sharma, IPS, DIG Armed Jammu; and Sh. Sunil Raj, SSP APCR Jammu.
On arrival, Shri Jain was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour by a contingent of the battalion. During the visit, he distributed sports equipment among the J&K Police Central Sports Teams, including wrestling, powerlifting, arm wrestling, and weightlifting gear, underscoring the importance of physical fitness and sporting excellence.
