JAMMU, July 31 -- MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today kick-started the ?3.25 crore Smart City project for upgradation of the road from Wave Mall to Transit Camp, Narwal, including development of a green strip on both sides of the road, end-to-end pavement and other allied works.
The programme was attended by Mandal President Surjeet Singh, along with a large gathering of local residents, party workers and prominent citizens.
While addressing the gathering, Ch. Vikram Randhawa said that the road was in a very poor and deteriorated condition, causing inconvenience to commuters and local residents for a long time.
