JAMMU, May 4 -- In a significant step towards strengthening urban infrastructure and addressing long-standing sanitation challenges, the foundation stone for the construction and diversion of a drainage system in Ward No. 65, Patoli Brahmana, under Jammu North Assembly Constituency, was laid by MLA Jammu North, Sham Lal Sharma. The project, to be executed by the Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED), involves an estimated investment of Rs 2.55 crore. It fulfills a long-pending demand of local residents who have been facing persistent issues of waterlogging, inefficient drainage, and sanitation concerns.
